Will this work with my assistive technology?

Yes, the Enhanced Ballot system has been tested with hundreds of combinations of accessible technology. It complies with all accessible standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1 (AA) and Section 508) and has been tested by independent evaluators and thousands of voters. How do I request to receive my ballot this way?

The absentee ballot request processes vary by state. Contact your local election official to inquire how to request your accessible absentee ballot.

How will I get my ballot?

If your local election official chooses to sign up with this program, they are responsible for uploading their ballots. Once they do this, you will receive an email with information on how to access the system and get your ballot.

How do I return my ballot?

Your ballot will need to be returned according to the laws and procedures in your state. This may require you to print and return your ballot. In some cases, state law may permit electronic return.

Can I test how the system will work with my assistive technology?

When will this program be available?

The Access-for-All program to local jurisdictions starting July 1, 2023 and will be available to you as soon as your local jurisdiction signs up.

What is required of the local election official?

The local election official will use the Enhanced Ballot self-service administrator portal to upload their ballot data, review and publish the accessible ballots, and manage their list of eligible voters. Enhanced Ballot includes training videos and documentation to assist.

When will this system be available?

The Access-for-All Program will be available starting July 1, 2023.

How much will it cost?

The Access-for-All system is $ 2,499 annually per local jurisdiction (e.g., county, city). This includes any number of elections and ballot styles, and up to 250 eligible voters. Initial implementation and training is available starting at $ 500.

What is the state pricing?

Pricing for statewide deployments can vary based on the structure of local jurisdictions and division of responsibilities between the state and local jurisdictions. For some states, the pricing may be less than $ 2,499 per local and others may be more. Contact us at team@enhancedvoting.com for more information on state pricing.

How do we provide ballots to the system?

Enhanced Ballot automatically imports ballot data from all major voting system manufacturers. The election official exports the data from their voting system, Enhanced Ballot imports it, and the election official can review and publish the accessible ballots to voters.

How do we manage voters in the system?

Enhanced Ballot provides a way for you to add, edit, or remove voters. File imports and automated interfaces with voter registration systems are supported at an additional cost.

What is included in this program?

The Access-for-All program includes the entire ballot delivery and marking capabilities of Enhanced Ballot. Local jurisdictions can customize the branding, instructions, email content, and other settings to fit their needs. The local jurisdiction is responsible for the set up and usage of the system. Documentation and self-paced training videos are included in the system. Additional live training, on-demand support, and implementation assistance may be purchased for an additional cost. UOCAVA balloting, ballot duplication, and secure electronic return are optional modules that may be purchased for an additional cost.

How do customizations work?

Enhanced Voting is happy to consider any customizations to make the system better for your jurisdiction. Most of these can be done free of charge and will benefit all customers. The more extensive requirements and customization requests may incur additional costs.
